We are looking for an Account Executive to join our Design Communications Agency. The ideal candidate will have a Sales and Marketing background in Architecture, Construction or Real Estate, with a passion for Computer Graphics and Technology, and must possess strong business acumen and exceptional analytic skills to understand industry trends and leverage insights to deliver results.
The Account Executive must have a history of meeting or exceeding sales quotas, exceptional relationship-based customer service, and the ability to work independently while making contributions to promote team development.
Business to business sales, and superior management of both large and small accounts
Prospecting, cold calling, and development of new sales opportunities
Creation of client-focused sales plans to meet/exceed goals, and ensuring client needs are met
Demonstrates superior time management skills and meets sales deadlines
Answers questions from clients
Being able to take a lead through sales process, initiate production cycle, and invoice with little supervision
Analyzes the competition to create a plan for engagement
Researches industry markets to acquire new customer segments
Participation and leadership in team/market efforts, meetings and events
Demonstrates products and services as deemed necessary by clients and management
Makes product appeal to the target market
Sets up booths at trade shows and demonstrates the quality or uses of a product
Assisting with collection efforts from clients
Identifies company appropriate government opportunities, prepares documentation for RFIs and RFPs, and delivers with excellence
Makes product knowledge readily available to self and other sales people through various resources
Engages in superior customer service by making information readily available

Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Communications, industry-related or similar field of study

Ability to read, write and communicate using the English language sufficient to perform job functions (other preferences will be given for special language skills where there is a business need)
Ability to maintain a strong sense of focus and confidence under tight deadlines and varying workloads.

Active driver’s license with a driving record representative of a safe driving history
Successful track record working with major accounts
Must have Business Development experience within the AEC community in the DC/Metro area
Drive the sales process from inquiry/RFP coordination through “Closing the Deal”
Support the development and preparation of RFP’s, Pre-Qualification, formal presentations
This position will require travel to various client meetings and events, and may require occasional overnight travel
Responsible for responding to RFIs and RFPs by creating graphic products to showcase company expertise.
MOnitors and reports on marketing efforts and campaigns.
Strong proficiency in the Adobe Creative Suite application (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator).
Experience in government contracting procedures and protocols
Completes and/or directs the completion of government forms, client questionnaires and qualifying statements as required. Work often involves composing or editing answers to technical questions.
Track and report current status of potential projects, markets, Customer news, and developments
Coordinates, assembles and prepares materials for client presentations and interviews, in accordance with company Brand Standards.
Responsible for e-newsletters and maintaining mailing lists.
